Your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Co-ordination, supervision and management of ground investigations, including Phase 1 (desk-top) studies, Phase 2 (intrusive) investigations and subsequent monitoring and remediation works;
- Ensuring the highest standards of health and safety are followed during all field work practices;
- Accurate and precise recording of fieldwork data, and clear, concise presentation of such data;
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors and staff in both office and field settings;
- Preparing client reports, including environmental risk assessments, remedial recommendations, foundation recommendations and coal mining risk assessments; and
- Assisting senior staff with preparations of reports, drawings, models and fee proposals.
The minimum qualifications for this position are:
- A degree in Geology or related subject, ideally with practical modules encompassing field work;
- A full, clean Driving License;
- Based within an easily commutable distance to Manchester City Centre office.
