Josh is a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer at IGE Consulting, contributing to ground investigations and supporting technical reporting across a range of development projects. Since joining in 2025, he has been building experience across both site-based work and desk-based assessments.

With an integrated Masters’ degree in Earth and Planetary Science from the University of Manchester, Josh has a particular interest in geology and volcanology. Prior to joining IGE, he worked as a land surveyor, gaining practical experience of topographical, utility and measured building surveys, which has strengthened his understanding of site data collection and interpretation.

At IGE, Josh is involved in site investigations and assists in analysing ground conditions to support project teams in managing risk and progressing development. He is developing a broad technical skillset while gaining exposure to a wide variety of sites and ground conditions.

Josh enjoys the variety of the role and the opportunity to continuously learn, taking pride in contributing to projects where engineering decisions directly influence how land is used and developed.
