James is a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer at IGE, specialising in remediation strategies and validation works across complex development projects. Since joining IGE in 2019, James has developed extensive experience across a wide range of site works, from supervising large scale investigations to managing technically challenging projects. As Validations Manager, he plays a key role in ensuring remedial measures such as cover systems and ground gas protection measures are delivered and verified to the highest standards.

His expertise includes the production of remedial strategies and validation reports, as well as overseeing the installation and verification of gas protection measures and cover systems.

In 2024, James achieved Specialist in Gas Protection Verification (SGPV) accreditation through the CL:AIRE Gas Protection Verification Scheme, becoming one of a small number of professionals in the UK to hold this qualification. He is also actively involved in in the British Verification Council, contributing to the ongoing development of industry standards.
