Fiona is a Geo-Environmental Engineer at IGE Consulting, supporting the delivery of ground investigations and environmental assessments across a range of development projects. Since joining in 2023, she has been developing her technical skills across both site-based work and reporting.

Her role includes planning and undertaking ground investigations, monitoring ground gas and analysing laboratory data to inform environmental and geotechnical assessments. Fiona is involved in the preparation of a range of reports including coal mining risk assessments and remediation strategies, helping to support the planning process and guide development decisions.

She also uses CAD and QGIS software to produce clear conceptual models and drawings, enabling project teams to better understand site conditions and constraints.

Working closely with her IGE colleagues, Fiona is particularly interested in the role geo-environmental engineering plays in regenerating brownfield land and enabling sustainable development.
